1.Basic approach

The App does not, as a rule, require you to create an account in order to use it.

Information specific to the App — such as photos, videos, albums, favorites, protection status and Secret Vault settings — is managed primarily on your device.

The App is not a service that uploads your photos or videos to a cloud server operated by asobito for storage on your behalf.

2.Access to photos and videos

The App accesses photos and videos on your device in order to provide its functions, including viewing photos and videos, organizing them into albums, favorites, basic photo editing, protection and Secret Vault.

Permission to access them is managed by your device and its operating system. If you do not grant permission, or if you revoke it later, some or all functions of the App may become unavailable.

3.Biometric authentication

Where biometric authentication is used in the App, the authentication itself is performed by the mechanism provided by your device operating system.

asobito does not obtain your fingerprint, facial data or any other biometric information itself. The App receives only the result of the authentication returned by the operating system.

4.Advertising

We plan to use the Google Mobile Ads SDK in the App.

Through the Google Mobile Ads SDK and other third-party SDKs, the following information may be handled for purposes such as providing the service, delivering advertising, preventing fraud and measuring performance.

• IP address
• Approximate location inferred from the IP address or similar signals
• Device or account identifiers
• App activity and user interactions
• Diagnostic information
• Performance information

Even where this information is not collected and stored directly on servers operated by asobito, it may be transmitted to and processed by third parties through SDKs integrated into the App, in accordance with their purposes, terms and policies.

The scope and purposes of the information handled may change as those third parties change their specifications.

5.Purchases

We plan to use store billing provided by store operators such as Google Play.

Payment itself is processed by the store operator. asobito does not obtain payment information such as credit card numbers.

On the other hand, information necessary to provide the functions of the App — such as purchase status and purchased entitlements — may be handled.

6.If you contact us

If you contact us yourself, we may handle your name, email address, the content of your enquiry and information about your environment (such as operating system, device name and app version), to the extent necessary to respond.

This information is used only to respond to your enquiry and to keep a record of it.

7.Provision to third parties

We do not provide personal information to third parties without your consent, except in the following cases.

• Where required by law
• Where it is necessary to protect the life, body or property of a person and it is difficult to obtain consent
• Where we entrust part of our operations to a contractor, to the extent necessary

As stated in sections 4 and 5, handling of information by third-party SDKs and store operators takes place separately from provision by asobito, under the responsibility and terms of those third parties.

8.Deleting data

Information stored specifically by the App, including the contents of the Secret Vault, is managed primarily on your device and may therefore be lost when the App is deleted.

Please check whether you need any of that data before deleting the App.

9.Use by children

The App is not designed specifically for children. Please use it under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

10.Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy in response to changes in the App, changes in third-party SDKs, or changes in applicable law. Any revision takes effect when it is published on this page.
